Leave the M25 motorway at exit 11 (Woking / Chertsey). Follow the A320 direction Woking. After o.7 mls at roundabout take A320 direction Chertsey/Staines. After o.7 mls turn left into B386 direction Windlesham. After o.5 mls turn left into Stone Hill Rd direction Foxhills. After o.9 mls golf is on your right.
Foxhills Hotel & Resort (Longcross course): Laid out on the gently undulating terrain of this beautifully wooded country estate, Foxhills boasts two excellent championship golf courses. The Longcross, like its companion (the Bernard Hunt), provides an enjoyable and testing golf outing, and a thoroughly agreeable stroll through this quiet and natural woodland domain.
With most fairways lined by mature scots pines, rhododendrons and silver birch trees, the emphasis is definitely on accuracy from the tee. Short and straight will invariably serve you better than long and wayward.
The Longcross really comes alive on its more interesting back-nine, with several holes taking advantage of greater elevation changes. The signature par-5 14th is played from a wonderfully elevated tee, the fairway stretching out below you, home to a tall oak tree that poses problems for anything hit too far left off the tee. The tight par-4 17th and "open your shoulders", dog-legging, par-5 18th bring you back uphill to the final green, a double green shared with the final hole on the Bernard Hunt course.
Foxhills is located at the heart of Surrey's glittering array of heathland golf courses. It offers a Stay&Play opportunity where you can get to know not just the Foxhills own championship golf courses, but also its near neighbours, which include the much revered likes of Wentworth, Sunningdale, St George's Hill and the three W's (Woking, West Hill and Worplesdon).

The Foxhills Estate was originally established in the 1700s as a country retreat for Charles James Fox, a brilliant parliamentarian of his day. Fox's passionate oratory was matched by a love of the high life, and also in later life, gardening. He was responsible for significant tree-planting in this area, which became known as "Fox's Hills."
In the 1960s the estate was acquired by Aer Lingus, who built and opened the two golf courses in 1975. Successful businessman Ian Hayton realised Foxhills' true potential, buying it in 1983 for £1.4 million, and redeveloping it into one of the UK's most successful golf resorts.
Foxhills has hosted many top level tournaments, including the Women's British Open in 1978.
