Where2Golf says:
Llandudno's Maesdu Golf Club is located just across the railway-line and perched above its neighbour, the North Wales Golf Club. With this slightly higher elevation come panoramic views over the Snowdonia mountains, Conwy Bay, the Great Orme headland and across to Anglesey and Puffin Island. Unlike its neighbour across the tracks, you are not going to be playing a classic seaside links course. Maesdu has more in character with an open parkland course than a seaside links; short wind-shaped trees and gorse bushes, rather than sand dunes line the fairways. Although set back from the beach, Maesdu's gently sloping terrain presents abundant sea views, especially from the more open back-nine, and the ever-present wind will ensure a thorough examination of your golfing skills. With generally good quality upkeep, spectacular views (the best of which comes at the elevated 18th tee) and a value-for-money green-fee, don't be surprised to find a full car park at this always popular golf club.
