Porto Santo Golfe: located on the second largest island in the Maderia Islands archipelago, this relatively recent Seve Ballesteros design, is set against a rugged backdrop of dramatic basalt cliffs, towering craggy hills, and the mighty Atlantic Ocean. The layout was designed to blend in with its natural landscape, with care to minimize the impact on the environment.
The course comprises 18 holes that can stretch to 6,434 metres from the tips. The layout embraces two distinct zones – a South course in the American tradition, dotted with lakes and demanding a long, precise game.
The North course is played along spectacular cliff tops. This open parkland layout, with its dramatic backdrop of hills, cliffs and the ocean, provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.

The island of Porto Santo lies 27 mi northeast of Madeira Island, the main island in this Atlantic archipelago. Unlike the more mountainous main island, which attracts its fair share of rainfall, Porto Santo is less mountainous and has a considerably drier climate.

Chevron Championship: the women’s major championship season gets underway for the second year at its new Carlton Woods home outside Houston, Texas. World No.2 Lilia Vu defends (April 18-21).
Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with four wins out of her last four appearances on the LPGA Tour, a feat last achieved by Lorena Ochoa in 2008. Korda's win at the T-Mobile Match Play brought up her 12th LPGA Tour victory.
Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda’s three-in-three, when he placed second at the Houston Open. This followed back-to-back wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players. Like Korda, he remains comfortably ahead in the official world golf rankings.
Marco Simone Golf & Country Club: With a clubhouse that might befit a Roman Emperor, and a golf course to match, you can be sure of a memorable outing at Rome's most talked about golf facility.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour.
