Wentworth Club (Edinburgh Course)

A must play course. Excellent standard - one of the top rated 4's!
Wentworth Club (Edinburgh Course) Est. 1990

Where2Golf says:

Completing the triumverate of excellent golf courses here at Wentworth, the Edinburgh or "South" course is a relative newcomer in comparison to its older siblings, the East and West courses. The generation gap between the courses is not so easily detected however, particularly with the Edinburgh also having been sculpted in a wonderfully mature wooded heathland setting, where gently undulating terrain gives each hole its own distinctive appearance. Characteristic of this layout are several dog-legging holes that lead you through the trees and onto the fast and tricky greens. The green-keeping, as you'd expect is excellent, although like all of Wentworth's courses, the wear and tear is fairly relentless given the popularity of this venue. Younger maybe, but the Edinburgh course is as bright a wooded heathland star when compared with the better known jewels in the Wentworth crown.
