Les Aisses Golf Est. 1992

The three 9-hole loops that comprise Golf des Aisses, occupy a splendidly natural setting of trees and lakes. If you like water, you'll be thoroughly at home on the Bleu-nine. If its sand that's more appealing then go for the Blanc-nine, but if you want both then do not miss the Rouge-nine, where some of the dog-legs are so pronounced you'll need to "bend it like Beckham" - especially at the very watery par-5 6th hole. The clubhouse and some of the on-course maintenance are a tad basic, but the greens are large, quick and very true, and every hole (on all three nines) is very well designed - fairways neither too tight nor too generous - a good challenge for golfers of all standards. If you are in the area and also playing Les Bordes and Limere, you'll be in for a real golfing treat.
