Where2Golf says:
High in the hills above Grasse lies this newish course, cut out of a wooded hillside, but not onerously hilly to walk. The quiet and very natural tree-lined holes contain some intimidating drives, although on many occasions there is a tad more room than you may think. The spectacular vista at the 12th green (looking away down to Cannes and the Mediterranean) makes a welcome change from the woodland scenery, in itself very pleasant, but it creates a less than expansive feel for many of your golf shots. Maintenance standards are generally good here, but one is left wondering why the excellent looking chateau no longer functions as a hotel, just a rather large and sumptuous clubhouse. Overall Claux Amic is a challenging woodland course and very well worth a visit - especially if combined with the even grander Chateau de Taulane - same owners, and a bit further out from Grasse.
