Weather
Much of Switzerland, including the golfing areas, will have cold and snowy winters, closing many of the golf courses between November and March. Summers can be hot and sunny, although rain is also a frequent possibility.

Getting around
Good motorways connect the major towns. The spectacular trans-Alpine routes provide great views but can be very tiring.
