Chiangmai Highlands Golf & Spa Resort

Unrated course. Not yet visited by the Where2Golf Team.
Chiangmai Highlands Golf & Spa Resort Est. 2005

Where2Golf says:

This relatively new arrival to the golfing scene in Chiang Mai, is certainly a course that adds to the region's already excellent golfing credentials. Opened in 2005 this highly-rated course is located at the foot of the hills to the east of Chiang Mai, ensuring an abundance of fine mountain views. Several small lakes and water ditches combine with over 100 distinctively shaped clover-leaf bunkers to ensure that this Schmidt-Curley design challenges golfers of all levels. From the inviting downhill 1st hole, this very scenic course will test and probe your all-round game, building to an excellent climax at the gently-doglegging par-5 18th. One of the new breed of courses around Chiang Mai and a layout that has already established an excellent reputation.

Special information about the club and / or the course

The Chiang Mai region of Thailand is famous for its friendly people, quality of living, laidback lifestyle, handicrafts, mild climate and stunning mountain scenery. More than three-hundred temples, among them some of the most beautiful and revered in the entire Buddhist world, give the city an atmosphere of calmness and timeless elegance. The area features plenty to do for the entire family from shopping to adventure hiking, jungle tours, rafting, elephant riding and hill tribe visits. The Chiangmai Highlands golf course is apparently built on a ‘power spot’ - the former home of Kuba Sivichai, the revered monk who founded the famous temple on Doi Suthep. The site is breathtaking in every direction and said to tingle with an energetic aliveness.
