Where2Golf says:

La Zagaleta is a private course, open only to its members and their guests. The very testing layout occupies quite hilly terrain where the fairways, dauntingly viewed from the elevated tee boxes, will never look overly wide, and all too often, unnervingly narrow. In places the experience is not unlike playing a mountain layout, with several steep drop-offs ensuring lost balls stay lost. There are some excellent holes mixed in with others that are challengingly narrow. Two of the best are the 9th and 18th, which bring you back up to the luxurious clubhouse, and take you alongside an elegant water feature. Visitor tee-times are a very rare commodity at La Zagaleta, but if you do happen to play here, bring a good supply of balls and enjoy this wonderfully testing and immensely scenic course. [A second and equally private course, Los Barrancos, will open at La Zagaleta in 2009].
