Where2Golf says:

There are few finer tracks of links golf so clearly laid out before you than here at Cruden Bay. The towering dunes provide a wealth of interest, challenge and variety on this world reknowned course. Each hole is an individual delight (weather and straight-hitting permitting). Very few golfers walk away from Cruden Bay without a lasting memory of the par-3 4th beside the harbour of Port Erroll; the magnificent views and drop-off from the 10th tee, or the blind par-3 15th. As the great golfer Tom Watson said of Cruden Bay, " It's a jewel .... a true links ...... a true pleasure".
