Here on the "Plantation of Wouw" you'll find a very pleasant parkland golf course, set in a quiet and natural environment. The opening and closing sections are mainly played through a wonderful area of towering Scots pine, where tight tree-lined fairways will demand your straightest hitting from the tee - never more so than at the rifle straight par-5 15th. A few sprinklings of heather add to the "Scottishness" of these holes. The newer middle section of the course, from the long par-4 6th through to the water-lined par-5 14th, is played across much more open terrain, where smaller trees and water are liberally spread around. With only modest undulations on the tree-lined opening and closing sections, the hazards and pitfalls throughout are generally clear to see. Despite its two contrasting styles, which in fact ensures a good variety of golfing challenges, this is a thoroughly enjoyable course, providing a good test of your golfing skills.
