Where2Golf says:
A course which is often ranked in continental Europe’s top ten. Indifferent maintenance has sometimes created a poor impression for visitors with high expectations, but recently the course has been brought back to its excellent best. Essentially this is an open links, with the first four holes and some later ones feeling more woodland in nature. Every hole is something rather special, requiring a careful strategy to keep the ball in play and out of the penalising rough. No water to worry about (although a few nice views onto the Med) but the bunkering is very well placed and often deep enough to require a very open blade to splash the ball out. Provided maintenance standards remain high, this is a purists course not to miss.
