Where2Golf says:
At the La Manga Club and Resort, three championship golf courses, a Seve Ballesteros designed Pitch & Putt course and excellent practice facilities come together in one of Spain's most visited and popular golf venues. Benefitting from excellent maintenance, each of the well-crafted layouts will test and hone your game. Although the longer South course generally hosts the biggest tournaments at La Manga, many consider the slightly more undulating North course to be the more scenic and technically demanding layout. Precision rather than length is a better strategy for success on the North course. There is not too much in the way of penal rough to contend with, but plentiful bunkering as well as tighter fairways and larger greens create the need for good course management. Occasional ponds and 'barrancas' are also part of the North's defences, the natural storm gullies snaking their way through the layout. As on the adjoining South course, a liberal scattering of small palm trees line many of the fairways, producing that unmistakable and classic "La Manga" look.
