Where2Golf says:

Auburn Links at Mill Creek: This very enjoyable public golf course just to the south-west of Auburn is laid out in predominantly natural, undulating woodland. Running through the property from north to south is the main water hazard on the course, the good-sized Mill Creek, which quickly introduces itself, cutting across the undulating fairway of the par-4 1st hole - not once but twice.

The creek reappears at other points in the round, running alongside one or two fairways, or providing a hazard to be crossed on the par-4 10th and 18th fairways, and at the par-3 13th. Much of the course is played through a picturesque and gently undulating environment, with mature trees lining most of the fairways. Real estate only gets into the act in the middle of the back-nine, where the par-4 14th and dog-legging par-5 15th sweep their way around the Mill Creek housing subdivision. There's plenty of good bunkering and occasionally some tightish drives to make on this excellent value and well maintained public course.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.
