Where2Golf says:

Lagoon Park Golf Course is a classic municipal parkland layout, a busy and popular golf course located in the north-east of Montgomery. The lagoon wraps around the northern end of the course and runs alongside some of the perimeter holes on both the front and back nines. Most of the time however water is not your primary concern. Your main focus will be hitting accurate drives onto the tightish, tree-lined fairways that run up and down the park's predominantly flat terrain. The tree-line, which mainly comprises mature pines, oaks and some other more decorative dogwoods and magnolias, is never too dense, allowing wayward drives to be found on most occasions. On the slightly stronger back-nine, the closing stretch of holes runs from the top of the course all the way back to the clubhouse, with the lagoon (in the form of a creek and accompanying swamp) never far away on your rightside. These creekside holes are arguably the best on this pleasant, parkland municipal course.
