Where2Golf says:

Lam Luk Ka Country Club (East course): Few locations offer 36 more impressive golf holes than you'll find at Lam Luk Ka (sometimes written Lamlukka). In this very natural, rural environment, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bangkok, four relatively similar nine-hole loops are interchangeably used on any given day. The East course comprises the A & B nines, the West course the C & D nines. Though there is little to separate them in terms of quality of upkeep and presentation, which is always excellent, the East course (7000 yards from the tips) is certainly longer than the West (6600 yards), and can feel tougher as a result. Water hazards feature on just about every hole on both courses. As long as you can avoid the many lakes and ponds that flank the fairways and protect the greens, ball-finding from wayward shots should not be too difficult with lightish semi-rough beyond the gently undulating and generally good-width fairways. Although there are many coconut palms lending definition to the holes, you will never be too hemmed in, on what can at times feel like quite an open layout. Good bunkering throughout and well-paced subtly sloping greens reinforce the overall high quality golf environment here at Lamlukka. Testing par-5's close-out each nine on the East course, the 18th bringing you in full view of the usually busy and excellent quality clubhouse restaurant.

Did you know?

A short drive from Bangkok's bustling metropolis, Lam Luk Ka is the stage for a golf experience not easily forgotten. Both of its championship golf courses meander through Bangkok's wetlands, where its waterways and over 10,000 trees provide homes to over 100 species of birds and wildlife. These wetlands are part of the delta system of the Chao Phraya river, one of Thailand's largest rivers which passes through Bangkok as it flows out to the Gulf of Thailand.
