Where2Golf says:

Thai Country Club: With its immaculate presentation and conditioning, coupled with a very strong and classic parkland layout, Thai Country Club is regularly voted as Thailand's best course, and a Top 5 course in Asia. There may not be too much to see beyond the course boundaries, but inside this surprisingly open golfing oasis lies a layout of immense charm. As the top professionals discover, it is also a layout that requires good course management and plenty of respect. With attractive palm trees lending good definition to most holes, and plenty of small lakes and ponds also in play, it was in the hands of designer Denis Grifftiths to ensure these features came together in a harmonious and attractive design. He succeeded admirably. Its hard to imagine the terrain here was originally flat, especially when looking across the pleasantly rolling earthmounds, contoured fairways and often elevated greens. The fairway and greenside bunkering is superb; not overly deep, but each smooth line and curve of the bunkers' edge designed as if a work of art. Anything wayward from the tee will usually be findable, but is also likely to be sitting down in clinging semi-rough, making your next shots just that bit more difficult. There are several really top-class holes among this very strong eighteen. The long par-3 6th over water is the signature hole, while the par-5 14th is as handsome as they come. Also resplendent to behold is the fabulous clubhouse, which stands surrounded by water betwixt the 1st tee and 18th green - one of the best clubhouses in Asia.

Koksijde Golf ter Hille Golf Club: on what was previously open farmland, an enjoyable and challenging links-style layout has been crafted.
