Best golf courses around Brussels


Many excellent golf courses are dotted around Brussels, located just within 30 min away from the city centre. A couple of our favourites are: Royal Waterloo GC host of the Belgian Open, Telenet Trophy and the Hulencourt Golf Club, built on historic grounds that date back to 930 AD. The club prides itself on maintaining the highest level of golfing tradition, fulfilling the vision of the club’s President and Owner, Mr Patrick Solvay.

Royal Ostend Golf Club: represents Belgium’s only real "beside-the-seaside" links golf course (others like Royal Zoute are located a little way inland). Here at Ostend many holes make excellent use of an impressive area of sand dunes. From the long par-4 5th through to the par-5 14th, you play across fabulously open and gently undulating golfing terrain, with few trees, fine sea views and probably a bit of North Sea wind thrown in for good measure.

Koksijde Golf ter Hille Golf Club: on what was previously open farmland, an enjoyable and challenging links-style layout has been crafted. Perhaps the inspiration for Koksijde's new course came from a renowned Harry Colt layout that existed in the 1920s just a couple of kilometres to the west. Read more...
