Where2Golf says:

Quail Hollow Club, home to a top-rated championship golf course, is located 9 miles south of downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. The excellent tree-lined parkland layout contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and testing golf holes.

Throughout, this excellently manicured course follows the folding contours of the terrain to present a challenge at every hole. The front-nine is predominantly played through gracefull tree-lined fairways. The signature hole on this outward nine-hole loop is the testing par-5 7th, flanked by a snaking pond, waterfalls and rock walls along the length of its right side. On the demanding back-nine the short driveable par-4 14th, long par-4 16th and very intimidating par-3 17th all have greens perched alongside an attractive but threatening lake.

Quail Hollow is definitely a course that will delight the golfing senses and challenge your all-round game in equal measure. However, this is a private course generally playable only by members and their guests.

Koksijde Golf ter Hille Golf Club: on what was previously open farmland, an enjoyable and challenging links-style layout has been crafted.
