Where2Golf says:

The Course at Yale, designed by the inimitable Charles Blair Macdonald (the Father of American Golf Course Architecture), is ranked in the highest echelon of collegiate courses in America. This wonderfully rugged, tree-lined and open parkland course is another wonderful example of Macdonald's ability to get the best from a given piece of terrain. In this case a wonderfully undulating, rocky, woodland environment. skill in getting the best designed provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area. When it comes to collegiate golf courses, Yale has few peers. Perhaps the Oklahoma State course (Karsten Creek) and the Stanford University layout.

Koksijde Golf ter Hille Golf Club: on what was previously open farmland, an enjoyable and challenging links-style layout has been crafted.
