Leave M4 at Jtn 17. Follow A350 direction Chippenham (and Castle Combe Circuit signs). After 2.6 mi turn right at roundabout direction Poole/Warminster A350. After 1 mi turn right at roundabout direction Castle Combe. After 1 mi turn right onto B4039 direction Castle Combe. After 3.5 mi (having passed through Yatton Keynell and Upper Castle Combe) Manor House Golf is on your left.

The Manor House Golf Club: Messrs Alliss and Clark needed all their skill and imagination to conjure up a playable 18-hole golf course in this beautiful and dramatically undulating woodland setting. This they did, but unavoidable are demanding climbs and long walks between some greens and tees.
Good bunkering and landscaping has enhanced the more open parts of this layout, while the babbling River Bybrook winds its way around and about, not least in front of the plunging par-3 11th and the spectacular abyss-like par-3 17th. An excellent stay and play venue, but one where carrying your bag or pulling a trolley is definitely only for the fit and healthy.

The Barony of Combe continued for some 850 years until 1947 when The Manor House was sold and has sympathetically evolved to become a beautiful hotel.

Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with five wins out of her last five starts on the LPGA Tour. Winning the Chevron Championship also brought the second major championship win of her career.
Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda's five wins in five starts, when he placed second at the Houston Open. Either side of that, he won The Arnold Palmer, The Players, and then The Masters and The Heritage.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
