Forest Pines Golf & Country Club Hotel

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 1996

Forest Pines Golf & Country Club Hotel: The 27-hole Forest Pines layout comprises three 9-hole loops (Forest, Pines and Beeches), and no surprise that the layout offers a predominantly woodland golf experience, with pine and beech trees lining many of the fairways.

All three-nines are well laid out, with many excellent woodland holes to enjoy. The Forest–Pines combination offers the longest challenge. A few small lakes and plenty of strategic bunkering also make their presence felt on this American-style parkland playout ... something akin to a North Carolina course perhaps.

Stay&Play at Forest Pines: onsite accommodation available, see Where2Stay section below.

Did you know?

Forest Pines sits in a rural woodland setting just outside the Lincolshire town of Scunthorpe, the third largest settlement in the county after the cathedral city of Lincoln, and the port town of Grimsby. Scunthorpe came into existence due to the exploitation of the local ironstone resources, and from the 1850s onward has been known for its production of iron and steel.
