Golf de la Boulie (La Vallée course)

4-PLUS: Must play course - excellent standard; worthy of 4½ stars.

Est. 1901

Golf de la Boulie (La Vallée course): Golf de la Boulie is part of the Racing Club de France (RCF), one of the biggest sporting clubs in France. No surprise therefore that it enjoys all the trappings of a top-class golf venue. The clubhouse and general facilities are excellent, and the two 18-hole courses (plus a nine-holer) are really worth a visit.

Both La Boulie's tree-lined courses are routed over pleasantly undulating terrain. There are a few climbs to make, but nothing too strenuous. Located close to Versailles in the suburbs of Paris, if you want a break from all that exhaustive sightseeing, then there's no better solution than a day at La Boulie - a round on each course and an excellent lunch in between.
