There are several routes to Lisbon Sports Club, taking either the A5 and A9 from Lisbon (exit at Belas), or the IC19 from Sintra and Cascais. The key is to get on the N117 between Belas and Pero Pinheiro. From the town of Belas, the Club is approximately 2 km and will be on your left.
Lisbon Sports Club: A far from gentle opening par-3, is followed by a very tight water and tree-lined long par-4, and then another eye-of-a-needle downhill par-3. By the 4th hole you'll be getting used to the need for accuracy and thoughts of hitting big and long (and wayward) will be banished from mind.
In addition to this tough and usually tight test of golf, you'll also come to appreciate the very picturesque nature of the course and the lack of real estate, which is becoming so intrusive on many other Portuguese courses. The many elevated tees and greens add to the challenges, but are only to be expected, given the significantly undulating nature of the terrain here.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.

Soft spikes only. Players generally walk this course. Golf carts available for hire.

The history of the Lisbon Sports Club dates back to 1880, when British residents in the Lisbon area formed a Club for the purpose of practicing the sports of cricket, football and tennis. In 1890 golf was also added to the list of sporting pursuits of the L.S.C.

Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda’s three-in-three, when he placed second at the Houston Open. This followed back-to-back wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players. Like Korda, he remains comfortably ahead in the official world golf rankings.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
