Orna Golf & Country Club: Comprising three nine-hole loops - East (1 - 9), West (10 - 18) and North (19 - 27) - this expansive 27-hole layout, designed by Andy Dye, has regularly hosted the Asian Tour Qualifying School.
Undulating, open, earth-mounded terrain, combines with attractive elevation changes, sizeable bunkers and small lakes to form the principal ingredients for your round. Trees and jungle vegetation feature much less than on most other Malaysian courses.
The generous width fairways offer something of a big-hitter's paradise, but Orna's key challenges are to be found as you approach the greens, which are often protected by large, sloping fronted bunkers and pronounced run-offs that will carry your ball down and away from the putting surface. The greens themselves will test your putting as never before, with many roller-coaster slopes - getting down in two (or three) is never guaranteed.
Among many captivating holes, the par-3 12th is one of the toughest island-green par-3's you'll play; the green is perhaps one of the smallest and the tee-shot one of the scariest, at 183 metres (200 yards) from the tips. The par-5 16th allows you to go left or right of a small lake that runs from tee-to-green, with a nicely elevated green at the head of the lake - a hole which occupies the space of three!
The best combination (East / West) has parallel finishing holes, played either side of a small lake, with Dye's most spectacular earthmounding on show just beneath the stylish and large red-roofed clubhouse. Floodlit night golf is available on the West course.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends. Course floodlit for night golf.

Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with five wins out of her last five starts on the LPGA Tour. Winning the Chevron Championship also brought the second major championship win of her career.
