Follow route 4 west from Bangkok, and then turn onto route 323, direction Kanchanaburi. Continue on the 323 at the Ban Pong intersection. In Tha Maka turn left onto route 3209, direction Nongtakya. From Nongtakya look out for signs to Evergreen Hills (approx 6 km).

Evergreen Hills Golf Club & Resort: Located not far from Kanchanaburi, Evergreen Hills is another of the strong collection of parkland golf courses in the River Kwai area. Set in a very peaceful and natural environment, with jungle-covered hills providing a picturesque backdrop, the layout meanders its way through attractive, mature woodland.
Recently planted palms and other tree varieties will help to toughen up this layout by visually narrowing some of the fairways, which are generally lined with a good-width of short and user-friendly semi-rough, before trees and deeper grass comes into play.
Although never excessive, the pleasant elevation changes provide the opportunity for several nicely elevated tee-boxes and quite a few elevated greens. Water is sparingly used, coming into play only on the par-4 6th on the front nine and then most dangerously at the 16th and 17th holes on the back-nine. The first of these two water-protected holes is a par-3 played to an island green.
The par-4 17th requires a well-positioned tee-shot onto a relatively small landing area, or a booming drive in the direction of the green, but such a drive had better be long and straight to avoid a watery end. With solid bunkering throughout and some fine dog-legging holes, Evergreen Hills is well worth a visit - a thoroughly enjoyable golf course, in very attractive rural surroundings.
