From Nelspruit take the R40 through White River and onto Hazyview. Just before Hazyview turn left onto the R538/R40, direction Hazyview / Marite. After 3.7 km turn left off the R40, direction Sabi River Sun. After o.7 km turn right into resort and golf entrance.

Sabi River Sun Resort: Located within the Sabi River Sun Resort, just outside Hazyview, you'll find a wonderfully designed and very natural golf course.
Surrounded by picturesquely wooded hills, with several holes played alongside the Sabi River, this pleasantly undulating layout will thoroughly challenge golfers of all abilities. It also allows you to get a good look at the fabulous variety of flora and fauna along the river bank. The golf course is inhabited by over 200 bird species and for tree-spotters there are over 260 types to identify.
Alongside the par-4 16th hole, hippos and crocodile are among the larger residents at the hippo pond, which teems with wildlife. With all this nature on show and the Drakensberg mountains in the distance, you'll need to create time to concentrate fully on the golfing demands of this challenging course.
Water hazards threaten on no less than 15 out of the 18 holes, with each of the very good par-3s (including the par-3 12th signature hole) requiring a carry over water to reach the putting surface. The fairways here are never overly wide, but to compensate, the first-cut of rough is not too penal.
Particularly on the demanding back-nine, there are several tight and testing tee shots to make, often needing the ball to be shaped around or over the tree-line; on a first outing the intimidation factor is quite high!
With many memorable and scenic holes, excellent greens and plenty of wildlife on view, Sabi River presents an excellent Stay&Play opportunity when you are visiting Mpumalanga and Kruger Park.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and Sundays. Saturdays generally reserved for club members.

Sabi River Sun is a member of the Southern Sun group, which owns and operates many hotels and resort destinations in Africa.
The golf club's former name of Sabi River Bungalows was a reference to the small neighbouring village of Sabi Bungalows, rather than to the small amount of real estate located around the course.
The town of Sabie (spelt with an e) is located some 45 km west of the golf course and town of Hazyview, and is connected to them by the River Sabie (or Sand River).
Known before 1995 as the Eastern Transvaal, Mpumalanga is one of South Africa's nine provinces, its name meaning "place of the rising sun."

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
