Palmer Sea Reef (formerly known as Sea Temple Resort & Spa) is home to a generally well-regarded golf course, which includes several attractive holes and features. Measuring 6135 metres the course boasts wide undulating fairways, 89 bunkers and large greens with well-placed swales and mounds to test your putting skills. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
This tree-lined and open parkland layout, which on several stretches resembles an inland links course, will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges.

Palmer Sea Reef is located just south of the town of Port Douglas, named after former Premier of Queensland John Douglas (1818-1904). Douglas was born in London, emigrating to Australia with his brother Edward in 1851, where he became a prominent politician and administrator, first in New South Wales and then Queensland.

Chevron Championship: the women’s major championship season gets underway for the second year at its new Carlton Woods home outside Houston, Texas. World No.2 Lilia Vu defends (April 18-21).
Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with five wins out of her last five starts on the LPGA Tour. Winning the Chevron Championship also brought the second major championship win of her career.
