Bro Hof Slott (Castle)
Bro Hof Slott Golf Club (Castle course): This prestigious golf facility located just outside Stockholm, is home to two excellent big dimension championship courses. Both designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, the Castle course was opened in 2010, three years after the highly-acclaimed Stadium course.
The more recently opened Castle course is laid out behind its renowned lakeside sibling. Here you will encounter less wind and significantly less water. Exuding a relatively open and linksy feel, the Castle course also contains one or two tree-lined stretches, as well as smaller and tougher bunkers and narrower fairways. Running alongside some of the holes are huge tee-to-green 'rivers of sand' studded with small grassy islands. These expansive sandy waste areas contrast with the small, mischievous 'pot' bunkers found around many of the greens.
The Castle Course doesn’t feature black tees and therefore presents a shorter test than its sister course, which can stretch to a massive 8,000+ yards from the tips. At Bro Hof Slott you can choose between the Castle course with its British links character, or take-on the lakeside Stadium course, one of Europe’s finest, and host to European Tour events. Of course the best option is ensure you have enough time to play them both.
Visitors welcome on weekdays; no outside visitors on weekends.

The baroque-style castle at Bro Hof Slott was built in 1888 on an estate that dates back to the late middle-ages, when it was known as Brogård. After predominantly agricultural usage, and many highs and lows in the estate's fortunes, Bro Hof Slott was bought in 2002 by Swedish businessman and passionate golfer Björn Örås. From 2004 the estate underwent its huge transformation into a now world renowned luxury golf resort.
Since 2010, the Stadium course at Bro Hof Slott has played host to the European Tour's Scandinavian Masters on several occasions (see our Tournaments section >by Venue >Bro Hof Slott).

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
