Golf Courses of Lawsonia (Links course)

4-PLUS: Must play course - excellent standard; worthy of 4½ stars.

Est. 1930

The Golf Courses of Lawsonia feature two of Wisconsin's best-quality championship layouts, the very impressive Links and also well-rated Woodlands. As their names suggest, one is an open links-style layout in the British tradition, the other a well-crafted and challenging tree-lined parkland course. The Links course is a championship golf course that ranks with some of the best in Wisconsin.

This open, links-style layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. The layout features gently rolling terrain, bent grass fairways and multi-tiered, elevated, moderately fast greens that are surrounded by 90 strategically placed, steep-faced bunkers. Deep rough and large snaking sand traps are also to be found alongside the fairways. A must play if you are in the area.

Stay&Play at Lawsonia Links: although not a full golf resort, Lawsonia offers a Stay&Play opportunity with two onsite rental houses.
