Legends on the Niagara, located alongside a historic 1812 battlefield, is home to two 18-hole championship golf courses: the Battlefield and Ussher's Creek.

The Battlefield is a well-rated and pleasantly testing layout. This parkland and open-links-style course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

The Battlefield course takes its name from the nearby site of The Battle of Chippawa, fought between British and US forces during the 1812 Anglo-American War. The battle resulted in victory for the United States force of 3,500, who triumphed over 2,000 British troops commanded by Major General Phineas Riall. | Legends on Niagara is an Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary facility.

Who's Who

Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with four wins out of her last four appearances on the LPGA Tour, a feat last achieved by Lorena Ochoa in 2008. Korda's win at the T-Mobile Match Play brought up her 12th LPGA Tour victory.

Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda’s three-in-three, when he placed second at the Houston Open. This followed back-to-back wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players. Like Korda, he remains comfortably ahead in the official world golf rankings.
