Radyr Golf Club is home to a generally well-regarded golf course, which includes several attractive holes and features. This tree-lined and open parkland layout will test most facets of your game, ensuring a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and most Sundays; only members and their invited guests on Saturdays.

The village of Radyr is located alongside the River Taff in South Wales. The Taff rises in the Brecon Beacons before flowing through Methyr Tydfil, Aberfan, Pontypridd and finally Cardiff. The river, which supports a number of migratory fish, including salmon, sea trout and eel, flows out into the Bristol Channel, passing through Cardiff Bay.
The term "Taffy" (used by some as a nickname for Welsh people) was once thought to have originated from the name of the river. However, the Oxford English Dictionary ascribes the term to the Welsh pronunciation of David or Davy, which is a popular first name in Wales.

Chevron Championship: the women’s major championship season gets underway for the second year at its new Carlton Woods home outside Houston, Texas. World No.2 Lilia Vu defends (April 18-21).
Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with five wins out of her last five starts on the LPGA Tour. Winning the Chevron Championship also brought the second major championship win of her career.
Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda's five wins in five starts, when he placed second at the Houston Open. Either side of that, he won The Arnold Palmer, The Players, and then The Masters and The Heritage.
