Sand Valley (Sand Valley)
Sand Valley Golf Resort (Sand Valley course): Following on from the immense success of Bandon Dunes in Oregon, and Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs in Nova Scotia, Sand Valley is another exciting development from the Mike Keiser stable. Located on over 1,700 acres of tumbling sand dunes, Sand Valley brings the drama and playing style of British "heathland" golf to the heartland of America. The first layout here, the Sand Valley course, was crafted by Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw. It now has a stablemate, the Mammoth Dunes layout, designed by David McLay-Kidd.
Sand Valley Golf Resort pays homage to the great "heathland" courses located south and west of London. Built on sandy soil with low lying heathland vegetation like scrubby oaks and pines, heather, bearberry, blueberry, kinnikinnick and more, Sand Valley's courses are intended to emulate the likes of Sunningdale, Swinley Forest, Walton Heath, Hankley Common, St. George's Hill and the "three Ws" (Woking, Worplesdon and West Hill).

Mike Keiser, co-founder of greeting card giant Recycled Paper Greetings, fell in love with the links golf courses of the British Isles. He decided these coastal duneland courses, much visited by North American golfers, needed to be brought much closer to home. And so Bandon Dunes was created - an out of the way golfer's paradise, built alongside the Pacific Ocean, amongst impressive Oregon dunes.
Sand Valley continues the British-theme, but this time inspired by inland "heathland" courses. The earliest heathland courses were built amongst the sandhills of a vast open heath that lay to the west of London. The courses gave London golfers in the 1890s and early 1900s a playing experience not too dissimilar from playing seaside links golf ... all that was missing was the sea!

Chevron Championship: the women’s major championship season gets underway for the second year at its new Carlton Woods home outside Houston, Texas. World No.2 Lilia Vu defends (April 18-21).
Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with four wins out of her last four appearances on the LPGA Tour, a feat last achieved by Lorena Ochoa in 2008. Korda's win at the T-Mobile Match Play brought up her 12th LPGA Tour victory.
Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda’s three-in-three, when he placed second at the Houston Open. This followed back-to-back wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players. Like Korda, he remains comfortably ahead in the official world golf rankings.
Marco Simone Golf & Country Club: With a clubhouse that might befit a Roman Emperor, and a golf course to match, you can be sure of a memorable outing at Rome's most talked about golf facility.
Jim Fazio's original layout was much changed to create a modern Ryder Cup course ... now one of the Eternal City's (and Italy's) most revered.
Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
