Best golf courses in Dubai

Golf in Dubai: Dubbed the 'desert miracle', The Majlis course was the first championship grass golf course to open in the Middle East, and is still arguably the best.

As the long-time standard bearer of golf in the Middle East, the magnificent Majlis course is undoubtedly a course that sits comfortably among the world's elite. Contrasting with its sister layout, the also excellent Faldo course, the Majlis is less exposed to the full-on views of the towering skyline of Dubai Media City and Dubai Marina.

The Majli's serenely flowing landscape, in its early days an oasis in the desert, is now surrounded by the voracious property developments that define Dubai. It is also the r
egular venue for the Dubai Desert Classic and the first course in the Middle East to host the Ladies European Tour.

Here is a rundown on the best golf courses in Dubai.
