The Manor House Golf Club

4-star: generally an excellent standard golf course, well worth visiting.

Where2Golf says:

The Manor House Golf Club: Messrs. Alliss and Clark needed all their skill and imagination to conjure up a good 18-hole golf layout in this beautiful and dramatically undulating woodland setting. This they did, but unavoidable are some demanding climbs and long walks between some greens and tees.

Good bunkering and landscaping has enhanced the more open parts of this layout, while the babbling River Bybrook winds its way around and about, not least in front of the plunging par-3 11th and the spectacular abyss-like par-3 17th. Excellent stay and play venue, but carrying your bag or pulling a trolley is definitely only for the fit and healthy.

Stay & Play at Manor House: luxury onsite accommodation available, see Where2Stay section below.

Koksijde Golf ter Hille Golf Club: on what was previously open farmland, an enjoyable and challenging links-style layout has been crafted.
