About the course

The course: 18 holes. Tree-lined and open heathland.
Gently undulating terrain - a few slopes to climb.
Surroundings: Woodland and open rural countryside.
Designer: Designers unknown. Original 9-hole course (1935), extended to 18-holes (1938). Third nine added (1973) and a fourth (1983), at which time the 36-holes were organised into two 18-hole layouts, the Highgate and the Lodge courses.
