Natadola Bay Golf Course

4+ (4 gold): one of our top-rated 4-star courses, worthy of 4½ stars.
Natadola Bay Golf Course Est. 2009

Where2Golf says:

Natadola Bay Golf Course boasts a thoroughly captivating design, blissfully natural setting and as many spectacular Pacific Ocean views as you could want. After a brief excursion to the ocean, the front-nine pushes back into the coastal hinterland, with its mix of lush vegetation and brush-covered hills. The back-nine, with numerous ocean backdrops, features three glorious beachside holes.

Natadola Bay contains an excellent variety of holes, many of them with a good degree of elevation change. Stylishly bunkered throughout, you'll find water hazards play their part on a few occasions, while most of the good-width fairways are lined by native vegetation. Residential housing and busy motorways are most definitely not part of Natadola Bay's make-up. From many parts of the course you'll enjoy views onto the stunning Pacific Ocean, with its azure-blue lagoon sat behind a protective coral reef.

MOST MEMORABLE HOLES: The best views (and arguably two of the best holes) come on the beachside stretch in the middle of the back-nine. The short par-4 12th is drivable but also fraught with danger. Thick rough awaits down the leftside, and water threatens on the right. Laying up from the tee is the smart play, even if only with a mid-iron. The short par-3 15th is wonderfully scenic. With the ocean on your left, many players will be thinking "birdie" as they size-up the hole from its elevated tee. But beware the ring of six bunkers that will snaffle anything that doesn't find the relatively small green.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.
