Where2Golf says:

Stonebrook Golf Club: Occupying pleasantly undulating terrain, just a mile or so from the Escambia River State Wildlife Area, Stonebrook's illustrious past has included regional qualifying for the U.S. Open - nowadays, high and low handicappers alike will enjoy Stonebrook's elevation changes and golfing challenges - laid out in two nine-hole loops, the course weaves its way through a residential community, with occasional stretches of woodland flanking the holes, but more typically you'll find housing, set well-back, on both sides - with good bunkering, a scattering of ponds, and Beal Creek crossing some holes, you'll find enough ways to get into trouble, and can then practice your skills to get back out of it - the par-5 2nd provides a tough approach shot into a peninsula green, made tougher if you dare to go for it in two - water should not trouble you at the par-3s, until you get to the 15th hole, which is near the clubhouse and requires a tee-to-green carry over a pond - at one time considered the premier golf facility in the area, Stonebrook Golf Club has combined forces with Tanglewood Golf & Country Club* to offer good golf at affordable rates, in this non-coastal area to the north of Pensacola.

Koksijde Golf ter Hille Golf Club: on what was previously open farmland, an enjoyable and challenging links-style layout has been crafted.
