Where2Golf says:

Château de Chailly - Hôtel & Golf: Here is a fine example of a new-ish course effortlessly reflecting its surroundings. With the idyllic Chateau and village of Chailly in constant view, as well as the lovely Burgundian countryside, the course fits neatly into the picture. On reasonably flat terrain, and with much tree planting yet to mature, the course ambles its way around the front of the Chateau, while a good size stream meanders across 10 of the 18 holes. Excellent course maintenance and not overly punishing rough, ensures that this is a venue where you can thoroughly enjoy your golf, take in the rural countryside and then sample the fine cuisine of the Chateau - ah, to the manor born ! With the intersection of two of Europe's principal North-South and East-West highways only a few miles away, its no wonder Chailly is marked-up on many a traveller's map as a great stopover location.
