Where2Golf says:

Château de Chailly - Hôtel & Golf: Here in the Burgundy region of eastern France, you'll find an excellent Stay&Play golf venue, with a championship golf course that effortlessly fits into its picturesque surroundings. With the idyllic Château and village of Chailly in constant view, as well as the lovely Burgundian countryside, the course complements its tranquil and scenic environment.

Laid out on reasonably flat terrain, the course ambles its way around the front of the Château. A good size stream meanders across 10 of the 18 holes, while the original tree planting is now making its presence felt. Excellent course maintenance and not overly punishing rough, provides the opportunity for a thoroughly enjoyable round.

With the intersection of two of Europe's principal North-South and East-West highways only a few miles away, its no wonder Chailly is known to many travelling golfers as a great stopover location. Once you've tamed the course, and taken in the delightful rural countryside, it will be time to sample the fine cuisine of the Château ... ah, to the manor born!
