How to get there:

25 km SW of Orleans

Leave A10 south-west of Orleans at exit 15 (Meung s/Loire). Follow signs to Beaugency for approx 10 km. Turn left at traffic lights just before entering Beaugency and follow signs to Chateauroux/Limoges. Cross the bridge over the River Loire at l'Abbaye Hotel. Immediately after bridge, turn right onto D925 direction Chateauroux/Limoges. After 4.2 km go straight over cross-roads, follow signs to Les Bordes/Ganay. After o.8 km turn left into small private road to Les Bordes. After 150 metres turn right into Golf de Ganay.

Golf de Ganay (Jaune Course): GANAY'S GOLF COURSES WERE PERMANENTLY CLOSED IN 2010.

[Original Where2Golf description]: At the doorstep of Les Bordes, are the 36-holes of Golf de Ganay, offering the opportunity for a less difficult golfing experience than is to be found 1km up the drive (at Les Bordes). The Jaune course, like the Rouge/Bleu starts in relatively open countryside; from the 3rd to the 7th you can take advantage of some of the widest fairways you'll ever experience - get that driver out and have some fun!

With relatively light bunkering and not too much water in play Ganay's Yellow course offers the chance to build a great early score. After the "easy opening" the fairways narrow (a bit) and the holes become tree-lined from the 9th onward. As with the slightly better Rouge/Bleu course, the greens are excellent, but the fairways really could do with some attention.
