Golf Intl Barrière La Baule (Bleu course)

3-star: a good golf course with many fine features.
Golf Intl Barrière La Baule (Bleu course) Est. 1994

Where2Golf says:

Golf Intl Barrière La Baule (Bleu course): Like the Rouge (Red) course at La Baule, the Bleu starts in a pleasant woodland setting before undergoing a dramatic change of character from the par-4 5th to the par-4 13th. The middle section of the course is played in a large open expanse of slightly undulating terrain that, together with the new real estate developments, gives things a very American feel. When the wind is blowing, the water features that come into play at the 10th, 11th and 12th, can turn these holes into real card wreckers. This is a pleasant enough course to play, with quite a strong start and finish, but in many respects the Bleu lacks the depth and classicism of the Red.
