Where2Golf says:

Golf Intl Barrière La Baule (Red course): With the town of La Baule often referred to as "Paris-by-the-Sea", it is no surprise that the Red course at La Baule Golf Club was designed to make the many visiting Parisiennes feel comfortably at home. This graceful parkland layout, with its gentle undulations, feels at the outset like one of the excellent parkland layouts that adorn the capital city itself. After five holes however, the scene changes to a more open and modern layout, where water, big greens, serious bunkering and fairway-side real estate are more evident. But don't despair, at the par-4 14th its back to classic parkland, with the closing duo at 17 and 18 providing a terrific grandstand finish, where water is the big challenge. An excellent course throughout, and one that will definitely not disappoint (likewise the fare on offer in the splendid clubhouse).
