GolfResort Weimarer Land (Bobby Jones course) Est. 2010

Where2Golf says:

GolfResort Weimarer Land is home to two generally well-regarded golf courses (Goethe and Feininger), which includes several attractive holes and features. These mainly open parkland layouts will test most facets of your game, ensuring a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges.

Weimarer Land's Goethe course heads north and west away from the clubhouse, squeezing through an area of woodland, before emerging into an area of open rural countryside, where several of the parkland holes are played. The Feininger course comprises all the holes to the south and east of the clubhouse, and is a typically open parkland course. It is sometimes possible to play an 18-hole composite of the two courses, known as the Bobby Jones Championship course. The composite comprises the nine holes nearest to the clubhouse from each of the Goethe and Feininger courses. Worth visiting if you are in the area.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.
