Where2Golf says:

Gold Coast Golf & Leisure is home to another wonderfully scenic and challenging 18-hole course that is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, with stunning views onto Dungarvan Bay and the Comeragh Mountains. The original 9-hole course dating from 1939, was recently extended to 18. The mature woodland stretches of the original nine are now intermingled with the relatively more open and longer holes of the newer nine, forming a challenging test for golfers of all levels. There are several excellent holes along by the seashore, although when the wind is blowing hard, you'll probably be wanting a bit more shelter than some parts of the course afford. The Dungarvan lighthouse stands impressively at the far end of the course, skirted by the 7th, 8th and 9th holes.
