The Revere Golf Club (Lexington course): The legend of Paul Revere is writ large in American history. Here on the hills in south Las Vegas, his name is honoured at The Revere Golf Club and its two fabulous championship layouts. Both the Lexington and Concord courses provide stunning backdrops for you to deploy your golf skills and battle the elements.

The highest elevations of the Lexington give breathtaking views over Las Vegas Valley, the city and, of course, the world-famous Strip. Your shots may not be "heard around the world", but they will need to be well judged to make best use of the many dramatic elevation changes, stay out of the plentiful bunkering and hit the usually well-bunkered and sometimes water-defended greens.

The most spectacular water feature, a wonderfully large waterfall, is thankfully set behind the green at the 7th hole (King's Chapel) rather than guarding the front or side of this wonderfully undulating par-4.

On the back-nine the dramatic intensity and degree of challenge ramps-up even more. Keeping your mind on the golf may prove difficult, with so many stunning views to be enjoyed, so you'll welcome the generally good-width fairways to land your tee-shots (especially if the wind is blowing).

The Lexington provides a great test of your shot-making capabilities with many classic risk-reward scenarios. But what you'll likely remember most is a succession of visually stunning golf holes crafted onto this wonderfully undulating desert terrain. Thankfully, the relatively unobtrusive real estate does not interfere with some of the best views you'll experience from any Vegas golf course.

The Revere Golf Club celebrates the legacy of Paul Revere, an American silversmith and a patriot in the American Revolution. Revere was glorified after his death for his role as a messenger in the battles of Lexington and Concord, the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War.

The battles marked the outbreak of open armed conflict between Great Britain and its thirteen colonies in the mainland of British North America. They were fought on April 19, 1775, in Massachusetts Bay, within the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy (present-day Arlington), and Cambridge, near Boston. Ralph Waldo Emerson, in his Concord Hymn described the first shot fired by the Patriots as the "shot heard 'round the world".

Chevron Championship: the women’s major championship season gets underway for the second year at its new Carlton Woods home outside Houston, Texas. World No.2 Lilia Vu defends (April 18-21).

Who's Who

Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with four wins out of her last four appearances on the LPGA Tour, a feat last achieved by Lorena Ochoa in 2008. Korda's win at the T-Mobile Match Play brought up her 12th LPGA Tour victory.

Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda’s three-in-three, when he placed second at the Houston Open. This followed back-to-back wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players. Like Korda, he remains comfortably ahead in the official world golf rankings.
