Did you know?

The founder of Belgrade Lakes Golf Club was Harold Alfond (1914-2007), a business entrepreneur and philanthropist. Ever since he could remember, Harold Alfond always loved the game of golf. His vision was for an unpretentious “country club for the average guy.” In British course architect Clive Clark, he found a kindred spirit to create an excellent golf course and bring this vision to life.

Royal Ostend Golf Club: represents Belgium’s only real "beside-the-seaside" links golf course (others like Royal Zoute are located a little way inland). Here at Ostend many holes make excellent use of an impressive area of sand dunes.
