The name Crumpin-Fox was derived from the Bernardston-based Crump Soda Company that was sold in 1853 to Eli Fox; thus becoming the Crump & Fox Soda Company. | Fox Golf is an organisation that boasts two top quality golf courses in New England. Fox Hopyard is located in East Haddam, Connecticut and was designed by Roger Rulewich. The Crumpin-Fox Golf Club is located in Bernardston, Massachusetts and is another Roger Rulewich design. On-site is the Inn at Crumpin-Fox, making this an excellent Stay & Play location, just 100 miles or so from Boston.

The Inn at Crumpin-Fox offers 29 guest rooms with king, queen and double bedrooms. The original Fox Inn opened in 1979 and has long been the favoured accommodation for Crumpin-Fox golfers and visitors to the area. The property was closed for renovation in 2010 and reopened as The Inn at Crumpin-Fox, with improvements made to the amenities in all guest rooms.
