Did you know?

The club’s name is taken from Benjamin Baker farm, which was once located on the property. One of the earliest settlers in the Newbury area, Benjamin Baker (1717-99) served in the 1st New Hampshire Regiment in the Revolutionary War and fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill (1775). He is buried in a small family cemetery adjacent to the first fairway.

The Welcombe Hotel Spa & Golf Club: provides an excellent Stay & Play opportunity, just a mile out of town from William Shakespear's birthplace in the centre of Stratford.
