Dormie Club: This recently opened Coore-Crenshaw design is already winning accolades as one of North Carolina's top-quality golf courses. Its well-crafted and challenging tree-lined parkland layout, provides a wonderful test for your all-round game with many excellent holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area, but don't delay. Did you know?

Dormie Club is Coore/Crenshaw’s first original layout in the Tar Heel State (North Carolina). It is just a short drive north of Pinehurst village where Coore/Crenshaw recently completed the restoration of the legendary Pinehurst No.2 course.

The term "dormie" is a golf expression that means a player has reached a point in match play where he/she cannot lose; the player is "up" by as many holes as there are holes still to play. The Scots have also long used the word “dormie” to describe a stage of serenity in life (originally from the Latin dormire - to sleep).
