Did you know?

Sometimes referred to as simply "Jack's Place," Muirfield Village Golf Club was the dream and work of Jack Nicklaus, the golf course designed in association with Desmond Muirhead. The land was acquired in 1966, but construction did not begin until July 1972. The name of the golf club was inspired by Nicklaus's first (British) Open Championship victory in 1966 at Muirfield in Scotland. | Muirfield Village has been home to the PGA Tour's prestigious Memorial Tournament since 1976, as well as Ryder and Solheim Cup matches, US Amateur and Junior Amateur Championships and the Wendy's Three-Tour Challenge. For more details see Top Golf Tournaments at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
